WA vs QLD - Monday, October 5, 2009

After a day off to rest the legs, tend to the injuries and adjusting to the change to daylight savings on Saturday night, WA were up extra early for an 8:30 game start. (What is it with this daylight savings thing anyway?)
The first half started at a frantic pace with Queensland having the better part of the play.
WA defence held up well until the constant Queensland attack was rewarded with a goal.

The game turned dramatically to WA’s favour in the second half.
The WA midfield and strikers dominated play through most of the half and were very unlucky to have a goal disallowed which would have evened the slate.
Despite a constant attack from WA, Queensland were just able to sneak away with the win.
This puts the pressure on for a must win game on Wednesday against NSW to stay in the 4.
